When I learned how to do a cat eye.
I’d never really done one before. Full disclosure: my stepdaughter inspired me. It turns out a cat eye really does change your face. It took me a while to get it right, but now I love how it’s subtly shifted my whole look. That’s fun! Sometimes all you need is a small shake-up.
When I realized—again—that our cleanser is the best around.
I already knew it. But moving back to Paris and dipping back into influencing means I’ve received a lot of products. Some truly excellent ones, which I’m happy to talk about. And still—the Doré cleanser stands out. It cleanses deeply without ever leaving my skin tight or dry. Soft, hydrated, balanced. Best in class.
When I accepted a few things.
I feel more beautiful every year, even though my face is changing. That’s the nature of things—but letting go can be a difficult process. Recently I accepted a few more wrinkles, a few more shadows. Some I love, some less so. But embracing that process is part of what has made me whole this year—in that sense, I’ve loved it.
When I refused one.
Hair. Nothing dramatic, but I’ve noticed changes in texture and a bit of thinning—and it scared me. My mother is struggling with this, so I’m paying attention. I’m considering PRP injections, which have been recommended by a few trusted people. I'll keep you posted!
