I’m getting better all the time at packing… Better, but still far from a master. But when I get it right… It feels amazing. Organized, streamlined, #girlwhohashershittogether!
So when I heard my friend Morgan talk about the way she packs the other day, I couldn’t help but gasp. She only ever travels with a carry on!!!
The dream, for a person like me who lives on a 5th floor walk up, and has a hard time traveling with less than two huge suitcases, a carry on and a giant tote.
Let’s see how she does it…

Try to avoid checking a bag – get creative with your carry on!

Every item you pack should have multiple uses or looks, or don’t bring it.

Most importantly, only pack things you actually do wear – and know will work.

Neutral colors help with the versatility factor; color and print works best in accessories.

My advice: pack things that don’t need to be washed, or can easily be rinsed in a hotel sink.

Pack versatile pieces, which you can seamlessly mix with new purchases ;)

Fill little travel bottles with your own beauty products, a little touch of home!

Try for less with the makeup, it all adds up – I really only pack mascara when I travel.

You don’t need to pack a camera anymore, just use your phone for photos.

Bring compression leggings! Great for the plane, or for working out.
