And I never used to wear any, but now I never take off my enormous Erickson Beamon necklace. I had a crush on Tamila’s creations and fall apart for Camille’s. I spent an entire weekend talking about diamonds with the Yurmans and I can’t stop languidly staring into vintage jewelry store windows.
I can’t figure out how these knuckle rings have found their way into my affection. At first, I thought the idea was not in the least bit chic. I thought of all that goth jewelry that kinda makes me shudder a little.
Except Gaia Repossi made it all new. Elegant, modern and…. Comfortable, according to my friends who wear them. With jeans and a white t-shirt. Simply sublime.
So there’s definitely something new going on with jewelry. With all these girls creating new things, really letting loose, and having fun and then giving all the girls like me a desire to wear jewelry again.
